Organizations recognized the acute need for these qualities during the COVID-19 pandemic and – amid ongoing geopolitical unrest, economic uncertainty, unpredictable climatic variation, and fast-paced technological advancement – they are starting to do so again.Over the past three years, organizations have made significant progress on supply chain transformation, from 54% in 2022 to 72% in 2025. Further, a solid 68% have established a clear vision and objectives for their supply chain (only 35% had done so in 2022).Within this intelligent end-to-end ecosystem, resilience and sustainability have become much more important. Managing resilience includes risk management, supplier diversification, and cost optimizations in the current VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) world.Supply chain resilience is a strategic imperative.
