ATTENDANCE AND ORGANIZATION OF WORK Place and date of the meeting 1. The thirtieth meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) was held in Santiago on 27 and 28 November 2024. Attendance1 2. The meeting was attended by representatives of the following member countries in their capacity as Presiding Officers: Dominican Republic (Chair), Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica and Peru. Guest panellists were also in attendance. B. AGENDA 3. The Presiding Officers adopted the following agenda: 1. Adoption of the agenda and organization of work. 2. Presentation of the position document prepared by ECLAC for its fortieth session, Development Traps in Latin America and the Caribbean: Vital Transformations and How to Manage Them. 3. Panel 1. Challenges in transforming institutional frameworks for development planning. 4. Panel 2. Changes in current and new requests for training in the region. 5. Presentation of the document entitled “Guidelines for the drafting of a regional agenda on governance of planning and public management for sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean”. 6.
