Therefore, researchers worldwide rely heavily on IQVIA’s data and insights to deepen understanding of disease trends, healthcare expenditures, policy dynamics, and real-world clinical outcomes. These research activities highlight the growing importance of Human Data Science — a multidisciplinary field that merges human science, data analytics, and health expertise.Collaborative research efforts with academic institutions and other partners are central to IQVIA’s mission as a global leader in information and technology services. These partnerships help expand knowledge in areas such as health systems, patient care patterns, and policy development, resulting in a substantial volume of peer-reviewed articles and conference contributions across diverse healthcare topics.The scope of data used in these studies is broad, and the number of publications leveraging IQVIA’s resources continues to grow. This bibliography captures 80 publications from the second half of 2024 and 133 from the first half of 2025, reflecting the increasing use of IQVIA data in scholarly research.The studies draw from a wide array of sources, including aggregated global and national prescription data, provider-level prescribing patterns, anonymized longitudinal patient records, healthcare provider profiles and affiliations, and commercial insurance claims for medical and pharmacy services.IQVIA values, protects, and defends privacy and the responsible use of information. The company champions the laws, practices and principles that help our industry handle information about people responsibly with trust and integrity.The content of this bibliography is organized in reverse chronological order by publication date and segmented into five themes:• Examining current trends in healthcare research• Understanding disease and treatment patterns• Providing context for healthcare costs• Assessing policy levers for health interventions• Advancing real-world patient-level clinical evidenceTogether, these studies reflect a significant advancement in understanding how our healthcare system functions in real-world settings, and how the healthcare system is subject to continued changes that impact patients, clinicians, providers, payers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
