ATTENDANCE AND ORGANIZATION OF WORK Place and date of the meeting 1. The special meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean was held virtually on 24 March 2025. Attendance1 2. The meeting was attended by representatives of the following member countries in their capacity as Presiding Officers: Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica and Panama. 3. Also attending were representatives of the following member countries of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC): Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Lucia, Spain, Suriname, United States and Uruguay. 4. The following associate members of ECLAC also participated: Anguilla, British Virgin Islands and Montserrat. Chair 5.
