The Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Investment (Procurement and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E)) funding requested by the Department of Defense (DoD) totals $310.7 billion, which includes $167.5 billion for Procurement and $143.2 billion for RDT&E. The funding in the budget request represents a balanced portfolio approach for the implementation of the National Defense Strategy (NDS).
