Singaporeans are asking ourselves, “Are we content and happy with our lives and the way we pursue our property needs?” Singapore has come a long way in delivering world-class infrastructure and economic stability, but quality of life today means more than that.The question we ask is: What really matters to people now? What are their hopes, concerns, and aspirations when it comes to the spaces they live, work, and play in?This study is our way of listening, not just measuring satisfaction, but understanding how people want to live, work and play and what the built environment should support in the years ahead.It brings together Knight Frank Singapore’s perspective on shaping meaningful spaces, and Ipsos’ strength in uncovering what people truly think and feel.It is our hope that these combined insights spark real change in how homes are built, how offices are designed, and how leisure and community spaces are imagined, even as Knight Frank adapts real estate services of advisory, brokerage and property management to meet these changing contemporary demands.Knight Frank and Ipsos survey findings indicate that while Singaporeans typically report a high quality of life, with three out of four expressing satisfaction with their living conditions, they are anxious about the future, particularly regarding job security.We’re proud to share this first edition of the Quality of Life report and we remain committed to be part of raising quality standards for the future of Singapore.3Singapore is often ranked as one of the best cities worldwide. According to the inaugural 2025 Asia-Pacific Best Cities report by Resonance and Ipsos, Singapore emerged as the leading city across three pillars— Liveability, Lovability, and Prosperity—with over 30% of respondents naming it among the top three cities they would like to live in, visit, or work in. \Singapore stands out as an exceptional destination with a vibrant blend of modernity and tradition.
