In addition to being carbon sequestration powerhouses, mangroves provide strong adaptation and resilience to coastal communities, they offer a home to species that support local food security as well as endangered species, and they provide livelihoods for millions of people in coastal regions. Investment into these ecosystems has traditionally relied heavily on public and philanthropic investment. Yet with mangroves in decline globally, these funds alone cannot support the level
