ab16 January 2026Global ResearchUS Economic Perspectives2026 US Economic CalendarBest wishes for 2026Along with this calendar, we include instructions on how to add to personal calendars on Microsoft Outlook using an Excel version that is downloadable here. US government shutdown impactThe federal government shutdown last fall led to delays in the collection and publication of data. Statistical agencies continue to work through the backlog of delayed data releases and this is having a knock-on effect on upcoming data releases too. This primarily refers to data releases published by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Census Bureau. As a result, we excluded from our economic calendar data releases which are yet to be rescheduled. We also identified economic releases scheduled for May and June that may be rescheduled due to delays in input data releases as such these have been marked as "probable" in the calendar. We will continue to monitor updates to release schedules and include any new information in our regular publications. See the data release schedules that the agencies are updating at the following: Bureau of Economic Analysis here, Bureau of Labor Statistics here, and Census Bureau here. All times in this calendar refer to Eastern Time (ET), and are correct at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change. Please note that users with non-US date settings might find that the calendar does not import properly. This report has been prepared by UBS Securities LLC.
