Introduction On June 2025, the “APEC Workshop on Promoting New Smart Materials for Sustainable Energy” was held in Hanoi, Viet Nam. The project was led by Viet Nam and co-sponsored by China; Japan; Korea; Papua New Guinea; Chinese Taipei; and Thailand. Speakers and participants came from the private sector, business associations, international organizations, research institutions, and APEC economies' relevant Ministries and government agencies.
