Comment: Year-on-year approvals, including new, renewed, and modified registrations, grew by 5% to 11,942 items in 2022, a 5.5% increase over 2021. Of these, new registrations surged 46.2% to 2,500, renewals declined 24.8% to 5,218, while modifications rose 58.5% to 4,224. Between January and October 2023, NMPA approved 2,088 new devices, a 5% year-on-year increase.
