Facing the complex situation, China implemented moreproactive and effective macroeconomic policies, keeping economic operation within areasonable range and continuously demonstrating development resilience. According todata released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's gross domestic product (GDP)grew by 4.7% year-on-year in the first half of this year, and total retail sales of consumergoods reached RMB24.87 trillion, up 1.3% year-on-year. Against the backdrop ofcontinuous fluctuations in the global economic and trade environment, China's economy hasshown strong development resilience and vitality. Looking ahead to the full year, the globaleconomic and trade environment will become more complex and volatile, and thefoundation for economic recovery still needs to be consolidated. The textile and apparelindustry needs to continuously deepen transformation and upgrading, accelerate theconstruction of a modern industrial system, and continuously build a solid foundation forhigh-quality development characterized by stabilizing growth, preventing risks, andpromoting transformation.
