Joint Internal Displacement Profiling Service (JIPS) is a not-for-profit, interagency service set up in Geneva in 2009 at the request of the United Nations’ Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). Working through a multi-stakeholder approach that engages governments, displacement-affected communities, and other national and international actors, we help generate shared analysis and evidence as well as coherent data systems on internal displacement that advance humanitarian, development and peacebuilding responses towards durable solutions for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and inclusive sustainable development.
